FIJI
Callan and I were lucky enough to be able to go to Fiji this year for his cousin's wedding, we had 7 days of tropical island holiday whilst the kids were left with my family, I'm so lucky to have them, and to be able to have these breaks. It's definately a place that we will return to hopefully not to far off in the future - with the kids. We missed our kids terribly and were glad to get home but the time together was lovely and Callan hadn't caught up with his cousins for about 5 years, so it was nice for him.

Ashlynn's Birthday
Well let's see my little girl turned 3 this year, she was sooooo cute, she loves dress ups, and got quite a lot of cute items for her birthday. We had a family dinner with lots of sausage rolls, chips, lollies, cheerios, and hyper children :) These are some cute pics of her special day :)

KODI BIG YEAR
Well this year was a big year for Kodi, he started Prep and he was just old enough to start playing under 7's soccer. The first day of school was exciting, I was a little emotional but held back the tears because he was fine. He loves school. The teacher is fasintated by his co-ordination and motor skills, she is amazed at how quicly he picks up sports activities. He has a fantastic Teacher. And when it came to the start of soccer, the excitement in our household between Callan's ambition of being the soccer Dad for his boy and Kodi's love of kicking a ball, it was hard to contain everyones emotions. We would count down each week to training night and game day - Saturday. This of course was a BIG thing for Callan too because since the day Kodi was born, Callan was going to be the soccer dad :) Me, I was just the proud mum, I just loved seeing how excited they both were. Of course I got pics.....

My First Entry
Well I love to read my cousin John's Family Blog, I am looking forward to setting this up and putting lots of memories and pics on to share. I am a compulsive photographer, both at work and at home, it drives Callan nuts sometimes, it's not often I don't have my camera with me and I try to catch every moment. With my Mum and half my siblings overseas, this will be an easy way for them to see my kids. In the coming weeks, I will hopefully find time to post events that have happened in the past few months or maybe even years, because i am so slack sometimes at sending pics in email. :) Today I worked, it was raining so Callan didn't, we lost money on Melbourne Cup as I'm sure many others did too, and my children are taking advantage of me on the computer and hoping out of bed so I will leave this till tomorrow. I'm excited about doing this. :)
